You mention 3 New colors natural oak ,chestnut and black walnut but then in picture it’s Amber ,Mahogany and black walnut , I’m confused I’m interested in picture marked Amber not sure if it’s natural oak or Amber
Amber is in picture and you can see all colors on the order pages: https://www.armstrongclarkstain.com/wood-and-decking-stains
I can see Amber is in picture is that the new color or is it natural oak
Amber as we mentioned in prior reply. Best to test samples to see how it looks on your wood.
What deck stain is best for new deck with pressure treated wood , semi transparent or semi solid.
Did you read the above article on when to stain new wood? You can use either but as the article explains, 3+ months to weather for semi-transparent and transparent and 12+ months for semi-solids.
We’re staining our ipe deck, which was installed last summer, using the mahogany stain. I understand it should be applied with a sponge. Is there a specific type of sponge that should be used?
Exterior stain pad or brush, not a sponge.
Our deck has just been resurfaced with kiln dried after treatment pine. Can the deck be stained when the weather is clear and sunny and the temperature range is 51/31 degrees?
No, you have to wait and prep as the article states. Temps need to be above 55 and cannot drop below freezing the first night.
Would you please send some sample bottles of AC stain. We have an old deck, grey/brown. We will be replacing damaged boards with new boards – probably 25% . Should we go with a solid color of stain? We are elderly and will be moving soon so we want to “fix up” the deck as easily as possible.. Our deck is huge-probably 1800 sq ft. Our home is a light “celery”green .Additionally can you tell us where we can purchase your products? We are in SW Oregon. Thank you.
Margaret.

The AC does not come in a solid stain. You can purchase it directly from our website.
Is it OK to apply your oil based stain on a redwood deck that was treated with Sherwin Willliams water soluble stain?
You cannot apply the AC over the SW. You will need to strip or sand to remove the old coating first.

The Armstrong Clark does come in a Black Walnut color and is VOC compliant for all of CA. You do not need to apply anything over the stain.
