Use our AC Wood and decking stain. Any color will work. Take inconsideration that lighter tinted colors will fade faster then a darker tint.
For IPE why is Mahogany color finish preferred over the lighter amber finish.
better uv protection? how important a factor? if we go lighter would we be ok to renew every 12 months?
Mahogany will give slightly better UV protection. Darker colors almost always will. You will be okay to use the Amber annually unless in extreme sun.

3 gallons maybe 4 at most. Use the semi-trans colors.
my deck surface is about 350 sq. ft. with a long (up to 2nd story) staircase. I’m told it’s Brazilian Hardwood/Brazilian Walnut.
I’d like a redwood-ish semi-solid stain. (I can go semi-transparent if I have to.)
What are your recommendations for how much I should buy & what color?
Also, I just gave it an up close, intense pressure wash that stripped off whatever stain was on there. Not sure if that makes any difference. Any/all tips are welcome.
Thanks for your help.
For exotic hardwood you should use the Mahogany color. 1-2 gallons at most for this wood type.

It has that weathered beach grey look, what are the colors that you provide. I kind of like the beachy look being we are only a couple miles from the beach.
Do you want it to be gray? If so we do sell a Driftwood Gray color.
Hello-
I asked the question several days back about what happens if it does rain. We had A LOT (~5 inches) of rain within 12 hours of application. The majority looked ok but some areas washed away. Will it be ok to let it dry and stain again? How do I know if it cured properly?
Hard to say without seeing a picture. Please replay to email with a picture of the floor.

I like the natural cedar look but I want to protect it from the UV rays and the Nebraska winters.
What would you suggest?
Are there any dealers in Omaha Nebraska?
Thanks,

Any color will work but the lighter the tint, the sooner it will need to be reapplied. No dealers in NE but we can ship to you. Please read this:

Good UV protection mean you have to change the color and the more color you have the longer it will last. Look at the Amber color. No dealers there but we can ship to you.
